Naturely community guidelines (v2)

You must be 16 or older to use Naturely.

Naturely is a place to share photographs of the natural world and get honest feedback. To keep it that way:

1. Nature only. Landscapes, wildlife, plants, fungi, weather, sky, water, and close-ups of natural things. Gardens and parks are fine. Pets, people, buildings, vehicles, food, and screenshots are not what Naturely is for and won't be scored.
2. Your own photos, straight from the camera. Upload only photos you took. No stock images, downloads, screenshots, or photos of a screen or a print. Photos uploaded from the camera roll keep their camera details (never your location) so we can tell them apart from downloads; photos without camera details are still scored but join rankings only after a quick review or a few community votes.
3. Real photographs. Editing is welcome: exposure, color, crop, cleanup of dust or a stray twig. Replacing the sky, adding animals or elements from other photos, and AI-generated or AI-altered images are not. Photos we suspect are generated or composited are reviewed and may be removed; repeated cases suspend uploading. 3b. Categories keep it fair. Every photo competes only within its category (landscape, wildlife, birds, plants & fungi, macro, water & coast, sky & weather, intimate & abstract). Pick the honest one; if our scorer disagrees, it files the photo where it belongs.
4. Respect wildlife. Don't bait, chase, or disturb animals for a shot. Don't share precise locations of nests, dens, or rare or protected species; Naturely never stores exact coordinates.
5. People. A distant hiker in a landscape is fine. Photos where a person is the subject are not scored here.
6. Be decent. No harassment, hate, or explicit content anywhere in the app. Vote on the photo, not the photographer.
7. Fair play. One account per person. Don't coordinate votes or use automation. Money and ads never influence scores or rankings, and neither should you.

Visible photos may appear, without your name or score, on Naturely’s welcome screen.

Anyone can report a photo or block a user. Reported photos are hidden while a moderator reviews them. Repeated or serious breaches lead to removal of content or the account. Questions: support@naturely.app.
